Metrocon awarded construction of two Mosques for the Australian Islamic College

Metrocon are proud to announce that we have been awarded the construction of two new mosques for the Australian Islamic College at their Forrestdale and Henley Brook campuses.

Designed by Archetype Design, these state-of-the-art mosques will provide an enduring spiritual sanctuary for students and their families. The architecture infuses elements of traditional Islamic worship with a considered contemporary design creating a calm, introspective atmosphere. Purpose built spaces for worship and religious practice, they are designed using materials and colours which reflect the Australian environment, and will support the students and wider community for generations to come.

This award extends a program of works already underway across both campuses, which will see Metrocon deliver over $100 million in infrastructure for the Australian Islamic College upon completion. We are grateful to the AIC for the confidence they continue to place in our team and look forward to partnering with Archetype Design and our delivery partners throughout the successful delivery of these sacred spaces.
